Speed doesn’t matter, forward is forward

Change takes time. It can’t be rushed.

So why are we trying to change at a million miles an hour? When it comes to your health and wellness, don’t speed. Take things slow.

If you go on a crash diet, you may lose a few pounds. But once you stop, you’re likely to put them back on. If you rush to lift the heaviest weights at the gym, you’re likely to hurt yourself.

It may be hard to see the results when you take things slowly, but you will with time.

Keep going.

  1. This is a reminder that I should print out and read it aloud every morning. I get enraged if I don’t quickly see results but in truth consistency is more important than speed.
